A Day in the Life of TV's Dr Ranj

A Day in the Life of TV's Dr Ranj

Wednesday, March 4, 2015 - 20:07

TV's Dr Ranj invites us to spend the day with him as he launches his new Braun "No Touch" Thermometer.

We love Dr Ranj. Not only does he fit so much into his day, he makes children well again. He really is a real life superman. So when he invited us to spend the day with him, we politely said "yes" (after we'd shrieked with delight, done a few cartwheels and managed to compose ourselves).

We took lots of pics, so take a look at a day in the life of Dr Ranj below as he juggles work, TV, exercise and a little publicity for a new range of Braun thermometers.

Early morning run

It's such a lovely sunny day so I thought I'd make the most of it by going for a run along the River Thames. I try to get out at least two or three times a week to keep fit and healthy.

Local radio appearance

My first job of the morning was an interview with a local radio station. I talked about Braun’s new range of thermometers, which I helped to launch. They are great (if you want the chance to win one, check out Mumazine's Braun thermometer competition page).

Prepping for ITV's This Morning

A quick car journey later and I'm at ITV studios on London's South Bank. I'm feeling very prepared for my interview on ITV1's This Morning.

Live on air!

I spent the morning talking about children’s health with presenters Ruth and Eamonn, and giving advice to parents watching the show.

Back to the day job

I spent the afternoon at the Evelina Children’s hospital where I work as a paediatrician. I love my job - it's very rewarding and I love working with children.

Thanks for joining me!

I hope you enjoyed spending the day with me.
